Language and culture play a vital role in international business and intercultural business communication. Speaking the local language brings us insight into the local culture. Culture and language interact and they are closely related to each other and to communication and our identity. Language forms us as individuals at home, in school and in our professional life. We learn through language and manage trough it in our workplaces and elsewhere. There exist various types of language barriers and different ways to try to overcome them helping us to understand each other and to do more and better business. Language plays a vital role in rhetoric being crucial in marketing and sales convincing customers to buy our services or products. And thereby to help companies making more money.
