报告人简介：
Dr. Mindaugas Kiškis (明道加斯or simply 明) is the Law and Management Professor at the Mykolas Romeris University, also the practicing attorney admitted in 2003. He specializes in Intellectual Property, Technology Law, Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship fields. Mindaugas Kiškis was awarded scholarships with major international universities, such as the Arizona State University (2007-2008) and Wolfson College Oxford University (2002).

The seminar will focus on the following topics:
1) Brief introduction of the patent system.
2) Overview of the innovation metrics and use of patents for measuring innovation.
3) Problems of the patent system, with the emphasis on the tacit (less known and understood) aspects.
4) Discussion on the use of patent data for measuring innovativeness and how to improve it.
