报告人简介
Dr. Guo Wei is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her Ph.D. degree in strategic management from the University of Maryland at College Park. Dr. Guo’s research focuses on two main areas—strategic communication and interfirm competition. Her work has been published at leading management journals, such as the Academy of Management Journal. Her dissertation won the Best Ph.D. Paper Award at the Strategic Management Society Annual Conference and Distinguished Student Paper Award at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting. Before entering academia, she worked in human resource management and journalism positions.
Dr. Tan Hongbin is an assistant professor at the Advanced Institute of Business (AIB), Tongji university. Before joining AIB, he was a Lecturer of Strategy and International Business at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He earned his Ph.D. in Strategy from National University of Singapore in 2018. Dr. Tan has published one book, Study on the Entrepreneurship of Cantonese Merchants: The Power of Family Ties, and several papers in CSSCI journals. He currently has several working papers targeted at top-tier journals in the Financial Times Journal List. Dr. Tan has also participated in many conferences, including the AoM Annual Conference, SMS Annual Conference, AIB Annual Conference, and IACMR Biennial Meeting.
Dr. Jin Chen is an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Nottingham University Business School China. Jin’s major research interests include technology innovation and external financing in emerging markets (and/or in high-velocity environments), especially focusing on the impact of political institutions on start-ups in emerging economies. She has published her research in many international journals, such as Research Policy, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Information & Management, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information and People, Journal of Global Information Management, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, and Electronic Markets.
Yuanyang Song is an Associate Professor at the School of Business, East China University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. in management from Fudan University. His research addresses how firms’ external environments and stakeholders influence their behavior in emerging economies. He has published in journals such as Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Management and Organization Review, Management World, among others.
